Dr. Anna Kissin

Dr. Anna Kissin is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She completed her internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and her Fellowship in Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where she was named Chief Endocrinology Fellow.

Dr. Kissin graduated Cum Laude from the New York University College of Arts and Science with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She was the recipient of the Founders Day Award from New York University for “having thus achieved a place in the highest bracket of scholastic preferment recognized by the University.”

Dr. Kissin received a Doctorate of Medicine in 1996 from the Sackler School of Medicine New York State American Program at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Before joining ECMC, Dr. Kissin was in a group practice in Morristown, New Jersey for five years. Prior to that, Dr. Kissin was on faculty at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York.

Dr. Kissin is certified by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology in Thyroid Ultrasound and Ultrasound Guided FNA Biopsy.

Dr. Kissin is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.

Dr. Kissin specializes in all areas of Endocrinology including Diabetes, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Thyroid, Pituitary, and Adrenal disorders.

In 2016, Dr. Kissin acheived Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU) from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (CERT: 0425-0127)

Dr. Kissin was the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award in 2012 and 2013 and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2012.

In 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Dr. Kissin was recognized as one of the Top Doctors in New Jersey by New Jersey Magazine.

Dr. Kissin has published articles on Medullary Thyroid Cancer, New Insulin Therapies for the Management of Diabetes Mellitus and genes in autoimmune thyroid disease.

Dr. Kissin is fluent in Hebrew and Russian.
